The
Assistance Fund is a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit organization founded
to promote home ownership and opportunity among low to moderate-income
families through down payment grant programs. We know that
homeownership is crucial to strengthening the family unit, improving our
neighborhoods and creating economic stability.
In the past decade, many great
improvements have been made, making homeownership a reality for more and
more families who could not have achieved this dream in years past.
However, substantial barriers still exist for many who dream of owning
their home, but lack the necessary funding to make homeownership a
reality. It is our sole mission to assist these families to recapture
their piece of the “American Dream”.
The
Assistance Fund’s Homebuyer Programs strive to empower families
to secure their financial future, revitalize our neighborhoods and
energize our communities. Homeownership strengthens families, and
provides our youth with a sense of pride, respect and fiscal
responsibility much needed in our vital young people today.
The
Assistance Fund will aggressively develop new programs to promote
homeownership in the future. We are optimistic that new and innovative
plans will create even greater opportunity for families and their
communities.
